Be My Valentine. Pleeeeasseeee!!!

Does begging sound desperate lol!

Christmas cards are so last season dahling! I'm sure every crafter in the world has them done and dusted by now and like me has moved onto the next big date in the cardmaker's calendar. That's right, Valentine's Day.

Okay, okay, before you start blowing raspberries at your computer screen, I'll fess up. I'm still knee deep in all things Christmas. My cards are done, that much is true, but I can't share the design until everyone has got them. And I don't make handmade cards for the season. There's too many to make it possible. So I compromise. They're still my own creation mind. However, I still have everything else to do. For starters I haven't bought a single gift for my family yet. And I'm like a mini factory making a little treat to give out to my friends.

So, when I saw the colours for this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge, red & white, I was resolute that I wouldn't be making a festive card with them. That would be far too normal. Instead, I saw them as a perfect combo for an early Valentines card. So I thought I'd ask, nay beg, will you be my Valentine? Pleeeaaaaasssssseee!!! lol. x

Love the treat you made and whilst I save everything I'm gifted until Christmas Day, DH devoured the one you gave him and was drooling over how delish it was.
Great to see you y'day, even tho' briefly, but thanks for braving the weather to give us such yummy treats.
Heart shaped treats planned for Valentines I ask?

  5. Wonderful card, very elegant in its simplicity.

I decided I wasn't going to do Christmas cards too, so why did I finish up with three of them? I guess I have the will power and breaking strain of a Kit-Kat :D
