My first Mac and my first computer, a Mac IIcx, required a grant and a personal bank loan to purchase. It cost as much as my first used car. I kept it around for years after it died, but finally got rid of it. My mom still has my second, a Mac 8500 (I think was the model name), up in her office. I think I actually turned it on in the last year to look for something of hers on it. I can barely navigate the old OS anymore it seems so ancient...
oh WOW! Took me back a bit and wish I had photos of the old BBC computers I first had to teach how to use. Tin things that were so big and bulky. Thanks for the memory. Hugs, Neet xx
