It's a simple card this week which is graphic enough to have shelf appeal. It's missing something typographical but the minimalist in me liked the focus to be solely on the hearts.
The decorative border punches are both EK Success & the hearts are made from Spellbinder's Nestabilities, other than that its made from scraps of plain card. No patterned paper, no stamping, no ribbon. I know, I'll never use up stash at this rate.
Ok...I don't know if I love the card more or the title of your post! As a creative writer, those things ALWAYS grab my attention!
ReplyDeleteAnyway...this is a wonderful use of the colors, clean and graphic, just like you ; ) xx
ooh striking card. I loved the use of buttons on the hearts and just the clean and elegant lines of the card.
ReplyDeleteFantastic card but I think I may have to disagree with you about it missing something. The design is strong enough to stand on its own without needing words.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Paul and the buttons are the perfect embellishment for this.
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean about the patterned paper - I'm never going to use mine up ever, either! Such a lovely card - you do elegant and simple together so well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! The bright hearts against the brown background is very striking...love it!
