Heartistic Licence

A striking, rich selection of colours can be found over at the Play Date Cafe this week. Chocolate & orange browns act as a perfect neutral foil to the opulence of hot pink and turquoise.

It's a simple card this week which is graphic enough to have shelf appeal. It's missing something typographical but the minimalist in me liked the focus to be solely on the hearts.

The decorative border punches are both EK Success & the hearts are made from Spellbinder's Nestabilities, other than that its made from scraps of plain card. No patterned paper, no stamping, no ribbon. I know, I'll never use up stash at this rate.

  1. Ok...I don't know if I love the card more or the title of your post! As a creative writer, those things ALWAYS grab my attention!
Anyway...this is a wonderful use of the colors, clean and graphic, just like you ; ) xx

  3. Fantastic card but I think I may have to disagree with you about it missing something. The design is strong enough to stand on its own without needing words.
