The Unexpected

A different colour challenge gave inspiration for this card. The blog is called Aspiring To Creativity and here is the link to the photo we must use for inspiration. Now isn't that unexpected of me? To have summoned up some creativity from such a source. Goes to show that design can be summoned from anywhere at anytime if one keeps an open mind. Which I did.

Wasn't easy though. I juggled about with proportions of colour until I settled on this and decided a heart would be a suitable substitute to the butterfly. And I didn't go for a polka dot pattern but chose one big white circle for the sentiment, as well as having circles in the border punch design.

There was an added challenge which was to use something in your stash which hasn't yet been touched before. Well I have used other sentiments in this stamp set (normally the Happy Birthday) but I had yet to ever place ink on the Hello one. That has now been rectified lol.

I love it! Your struggle for color proportion ended with you as winner! It looks very pretty. ;)
Thanks for participating!!

I do like pink and green together - how you have done this is lovely - proportion is perfect and I like the background of the papers you have used.
