For a Friend

Alex & I go way, way, way back. We've been friends since Canal St's hey day. We don't see much of each other but he's the kind of friend I can just pick up the phone to and we pick up where we left off.

I don't normally make cards for my male friends. They don't always "get" it let's say. So I, and you'll have to forgive me for this, buy them cards. Not so with Alex. He's always sent handmade cards to me. He can knock out brilliant sketches, which he scans and converts into cards. So I send him something homemade in return.

This is a simple CAS card with my own digital sentiment attached. And I kept it black, white and grey with a spot of red. My favourite designer colours for guys. No ribbons or ruffles necessary lol. Simple, graphic and unfussy.

Perfect. Very classy. I especially love that lower half, with the slightly grungy writing - have you created this yourself? Talented man!
