Channelling Kelly Hoppen

Thanks to my newly acquired Isabelle stack from First Edition Paper, I am channelling my inner Kelly Hoppen. If you are not aware of this talented woman, she's a renowned interior designer who has a signature style consisting of a neutral palette. And there is one colour in particular, that I have used on this card, which is synonymous with KH. Taupe.

Yup. KH is the queen of Taupe, in all its many shades. Ahhhh, give me a neutral palette to play with any day of the week. And I've chosen to accent with the collection's pale blue-green papers.

It's not quite as shabby this time around but some of my usual elements are there. Buttons, flower, pearls & seam binding. The design has come from this week's Deconstructed Sketch. I've had to modify the placing of the ovals though. If I hadn't, I would have hidden the stamped chandelier image.

Hope everyone has had a fun, creative & relaxing weekend. Pxx

  2. Squealing with delight here at this gorgeously muted palette. I am, as you know, another taupe fan - and the combination with this eggshell blue is delightful. Love the oval repetition and hope the back is better ...
