First of all, thank you to everyone who wished me well with my back. It's a lot better today. Though I'm not quite ready to do back flips yet. All in good time :)
Secondly, I have tried to take a better photo of the above card but I've given up. If I keep at it, then an expensive camera may find itself being flung right across the room. I've got a feeling I'm not quite in the "zone" this morning.
Anyhoo, this is my entry for the Mojo Monday Challenge. As you can see, I'm still playing around with pale, vintage colours, seeing what works and what doesn't. I have it envisioned in my head, to have a pale grey or cream background with perfectly accented colour on the embellishments. I haven't yet produced the design I see with my mind's eye but I'll keep plugging away until the magic happens.
Right, well I've just been bellowed at, to let me know that I have a brew waiting for me downstairs, so I'll go have a quick break before I settle in and do something that vaguely resembles work :) Px
work? Sorry but what is that? Glad your back is easier. Hope to see you tomorrow. Lovely card-nice muted colours.
ReplyDeleteLove the colour combination, what a beautiful, elegant card.
ReplyDeleteHope you continue to feel better x
Hi Paul, so pleased to hear that your pain is easing and the old bones are healing. It hasn't stopped the creativity and despite your own criticisms.... I love it. Hope by your colour scheme that you aren't feeling blue!
ReplyDeleteLove Jo x

ReplyDeleteLove the color combo on this, so perfectly serene and complementary! The flowers are gorgeous and that panel of burlap behind the sentiment really draws the eye.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're on the mend! I guess we'll have to wait for the back flips for say, next week? ;)
A superb combination of the soft and the textured ... and all of this whilst recovering ... Amazing!
