Inspired Patterns - Day Twenty Eight

I'm beginning to enjoy the project again. It's a new day, I've obviously woken up in a more positive frame of mind and having fun with patterns today.

So in looking for a photo to inspire me, I came across this...

Which gave me the excuse to play around with the 3D effect on illustrator and come up with...

Which I turned into...

And I could have left it at that but I thought I'd see what it would be like if I went bright and wild with colour too...

I could see this making great gift wrap paper.

Thanks for popping by.

Indeed it would, Paul! Such a bright and eye catching design, with the little pops of yellow.

Wow Paul, sorry for the long absence things are finally calming down here. Looks like you have been a very busy chap. I am loving these new papers/designs. the glitter ball looks brilliant and these cubes are so funky. the visual effect when you scroll the page down is quite trippy. Hope all is well?

Love the 3D effect - it works particularly well with the coloured version x

Hmmm think I like the bright one best. Pops.

I am definitely liking this interpretation, Paul! The first design appeals more to my masculine side (and I do have one) as being symbolic of strength (perhaps the metal gray), and the second, appeals more to my feminine side--like presents! In either case, I am glad that you varied the pattern! Almost done! What on earth will you do with all this time you have carved out? ;-)

For some reason I prefer the toned down one but I can see the wrapping paper taking off.
Hugs, Neet xx

I was thinking about wrapping paper for this and some other designs of yours, but wasn't sure if such a suggestion would offend you! Glad to hear it wouldn't. Your colourful geometric wrapping papers would be a hit.
