Play Date Cafe 22

It's Play Date time. Pale blue, dusty red and cream made up this very trendy, designer palette. Personally, I can't ever get enough of matching blue and red in a combo. Even better when you add a neutral in the mix.

As is my want, I rummaged through scraps (I think it's the last of that light blue paper which has crept into several of my recent creations) to find anything that matched. I used my new spellbinders die, my new MS butterfly punch and a new stamp image from Inkadinkadoo. So I'm certainly making use of the stuff I saw last weekend. The Monograms which spell out 'Mum' are from Cupid's Clear Stamps (see previous post for link), which I adore. I can see so many creative uses for them.

And congratulations to the wonderful Michele, who's work I am always in complete awe of. It's consistently of a high standard. To have an ounce of her skill and crafting talent, I'd give my right arm. This week she's won the Play Date Cafe Challenge and deservedly too. If you love papercrafting and stamping, Miche's Niche is a blog well worth following.

I'm blushing as I type this, but thank you so much for your lovely comments, Paul, they mean a lot.
I love your card for this week's PDCC. Great combination of Nestie dies - I never think to mix and match the shapes. It's lovely to see your new stash being put to such great use xx

What a beautiful Mother's Day card----in the U.S., our Mother's Day isn't until May so I will still have time. Thank you for sharing.
