Cheeky Photo

For this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge, I've produce a scrapbook layout. I wasn't supposed to be doing it this morning though. I was supposed to be working. But I opened up the blog, downloaded the colours and then thought to myself, I'll just open a document and place the colour scheme into it. Then it was, OK I'll just select the photos I'll be using. The next thing I knew, I was adding text and before I could stop myself, printing out and piecing together this layout.

The photos used are taken coincidentally by this week's winner, Cath (Congratulations!). A whole group of us met up at the Port Sunny Stamp Fair on Saturday and Cath was busy clicking away with her camera, catching two opposing shots of me. Both of which were crying out to be scrapped. And yes, the cheeky me has been slightly edited so that I can add it to my blog without offending. Those "oops" symbols aren't on the LO in real life.

The title comes from a song by The Voice of The Beehive. Remember them? I could have used the whole chorus on this layout but managed to restrain myself to just two lines. They have another song, Scary Kisses which every time I hear, I can see a layout being made using the lyrics. Sad, sad, sad, I am only too painfully aware LOL.

What a great layout, Paul. The colors are perfect and the photo is too funny!

My dad was the same way about having is photo snapped. Most of his have his arms and legs kicked in the air to block out his entire body : )

Excellent, Paul! Love what you've done with the photos. He, he. I sympathise - why do you think I always take my camera? I'm the photographer so no one can photograph me, lol.

Thanks for your Congrats - what a turn up, eh? I was flabbergasted!

This is fantastic, Paul! The colours are fab, the font you have used for the clever title is perfect and the embellishments finish it off beautifully! As for the photo - brilliant! x

Yep, I'm back again. I just had to come look at the photos, side by side - they really make me giggle and I love what you wrote. This page will be such a treasure. I love natural expressions :)

Fabulous layout!! It's fun, it's funky, and I love that you can actually find the photos on the page (yes, I know, you aren't fond of the photos of yourself, but you know what I mean...:). Sometimes there's so much "stuff" it's tough to make out the "what" it's all about. I love that you have just the right amount of (very cool) embellishment.
