A Hint of Green

This week's Play Date Cafe Challenge is one of my favourites. Black and white with a hint of colour. This time around it's green. A colour combo I must admit to having never thought of trying before. When I think black and white, I immediately go for red, pink or blue, so it's good to expand my range.

I've also been playing around making button flowers after seeing this tutorial. I've been trying out different glues which are supposed to work with hard plastic but which have proved to be useless. So after spending a good deal of time and money on a variety of glues for glass, beads and plastic, I realised I already had the perfect bonding solution already in my stash. Glossy Accents! Duh, I've used it before, many, many times to stick heavy hardware together but it completely slipped my mind. Worked like a dream. A great way to use up some of the ridiculous quantity of buttons I own.

Speaking of which, check out this button wreath by the same blogger from the flower tutorial link above - now THAT would use up your button collection easily.

Ooh, excellent, Paul. I was just thinking about this before I was rudely interrupted by texts from son number 2, lol. Love the design - that's my kind of card - and the splash of bright green is perfect.
