I'm Making a Guest Appearance

I am a very, very lucky guy this week. Those lovely peeps at The Play Date Cafe have kindly asked me to be their guest designer. It is indeed an honour. They are such kind, funny and generous crafters who have incredibly big hearts. There are lots of creative challenge blogs out there and sometimes we find the ones that we become regular fans of and this one happens to be my "must do".

I've gotten so used to it now that it's become a routine. And I like routine. Let me rephrase that. I NEED routine. Wake up every Thursday, turn on computer and print out the colours. I like habits where I don't have to think, just do.

So this week, Julie has chosen a scheme I found nice and easy. Brick Red and Yellow Ochre with White. Earthy tones. Very easy on the eye.

Plus I knew there'd be a butterfly in my design as I've just bought a new die combo set from Cuttlebug, Butterflies. It's a single die with four embossing folders. Once you see it, I'm sure lots of you will want it. I can see myself using this set time and again.

So all I can say, is pop over to The Play Date Cafe. If those colours tempt you, join in, have a go and share your creation. The warm comments you will get in return, make it all the more worth it.
