Someone's Got A Birthday

Yes, unbelievable as it is, but I've been playing at the Play Date Cafe for nearly a year now. Unbelievable because I hadn't realised how long that is. Only feels like I've been playing along for six months. Please can someone pause time!!! At this rate, I'll blink and be 70!!!

So HAPPY BIRTHDAY PDCC. And here's my card in honour of you turning one. Plus it helps that the soft pinks and yellows are perfect colours for a littlun's birthday card.

Thought I'd experiment with adding more to the card and stepping away from being minimalist. Not sure I'm keen on it but that's the whole idea. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and see where it leads. Probably go ultra minimalist next week to make up for it haha.

ooo is that a Paula Pascual stamp I see there? Or just similar? Whatever I want it. Nice card Paul.

It's not no and I'm flattered by the comparison. It's not a stamp, it's something I knocked up on computer and printed out. :) If you have a circular punch, let me know the size and I can always send an email copy to you. Pxx

That's really lovely and the pink die cut is exquisite. Whilst it has extra elements to your usual style it certainly isn't fussy. Love it!
ps take a peek at the Singing Ringing Tree on my blog... something you may like to visit one day!
Hugs Jo x
pps I had more sweeties for you but you didn't get to Japan Day... ah!

Nooo, don't just do minimalist, you're great at this style too! I LOVE this Paul, especially how you've combined the fancy label with the circle, it's fab! I may have to steal that idea!! Thanks for joining in our celebration at the Play Date Cafe! It's great having you join in each week, I always look forward to seeing what you'll create

I like the jute, Paul. Thought you WERE 70??? Only joking, of course - that's my age, not yours, lol. Good for you, branching out.

Love this card Paul - really nice work! I agree that the past year has gone by too fast - I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I need to slow down and notice it better.

Hugs!
