Sunday Crafting in Padgate

I've had a terrific day, crafting with wonderful friends, in a little town I'd never heard of before, Padgate. Lots of the folk from Vicky Stampers group were there and it was terrific to catch up with them all. Jayne, if you read this, you're a star!

Not that I managed to do anything more than natter. However, after three hours, I felt I needed to show willing and spent the day making two and half cards. This is the first one which I need to blog now in order to enter it into the current Colour Throwdown challenge. Deadline is tonight I believe. And I'm much happier to be blogging this one as my mojo has returned. If the sewing looks rough, it's because it's been done by hand, not machine. And the swirly stamp by Artemio is my current favourite. I just cannot have too many swirls in my stamp collection.

Right, all I need to do is run myself a bath, sip a hot chocolate and await dinner to be served. We're having pheasant tonight I've been told. Yum! And I'm pretty sure there's a Midsomer Murder to catch up on too. That'll do until it's time for bed.

Nah Na Na Nah Na - I saw this card for real and it is a beauty. Loved it before it was completed Paul and love it now.
Lovely to spend the day with you, can't wait for the next time.

Hope you have a well-deserved and enjoyable evening after this creative effort! The colours are subtle and yet catch the eye, and your stitching is very neat - I am sure my machine stitching is wobbly compared to this!

This is a beautiful card! I agree with you about the swirls and your stitching (by hand, oh my!) is most excellent! Thanks for playing along with us in the Color Throwdown!
