I haven't spent a lot of time in my craft room this week. Not that you'd guess from the state of it. My desk certainly had the "exploded bomb" look. I say "had" as I have gone round and done a quick clear up before embarking on this card for this week's Play Date Cafe challenge.
It was a beautifully elegant selection of blue, purple and white this week. They are commonly associated with regal or mystical themes, especially if combined with an accent of gold. And I have to admit I have a soft spot for blues and purples.
It's another minimal, graphic-styled card and I've used my new Fleur de Lis dies from Spellbinders. The sentiment is one I generated on the computer. I tried adding extra embellishments but it generally took away from the design rather than added to it, so I gave up and left it as is. Clean and simple.
