A Quick Play

I came home to discover a gorgeous selection of colours to play with at the Play Date Cafe challenge this week. Romantic, wistful hues of pink and cream accented with a berry blue.

Actually, there are a number of birthdays coming up in the next few weeks, so I'd better get my skates on and make them too (and with some of them being crafty followers, i won't be able to post them on here lol). I'll just add it to my long list of to dos.

I'm also getting an itch to make an altered book again. When I came home a few days ago, amongst the post waiting to be opened was the latest Craft Stamper magazine. And for the first time, it gave itself over to a theme, which in this issue was around turning books into art. Ideas are now swirling around in my little brain and I'm eager to find a suitable hardback to start playing with. But I'd better make some cards first.

Have a good week everyone. P xx

You've only been back a minute and here you are creating something so polished, and with such finesse! Do you ever sleep? I'd only just be getting round to sorting the holiday washing at this point!

Ah, this is utterly gorgeous, Paul! We've missed you. :) I see you've used a fleur-de-lis Spellbinders die again. You've 'enabled' me to order this set for myself. Yours was the only blog where I'd seen it and fallen in love with it. So thanks for that! And thanks for playing with us at The Cafe.
