Dashing One Out with Mojo

Like a lot of people, I imagine, I find myself almost neglecting my blog in this busy season. Whether I like it or not, there is much to organise. Cards, presents, food, parties, finishing deadlines of projects etc. I know that some of you out there are efficient and productive and can keep many more plates spinning at any given time. Me, I'm happiest when concentrating on one whirling dish at a time.

So this morning, I've neglected my work (that'll be done this afternoon and evening instead) & set about writing out cards and labelling up envelopes before taking time out to knock up a quick project for the Mojo Monday challenge.

The flower, I handmade at a recent craft group. As per usual, I didn't produce much at the end of the day but at least I had this to show for it. I basically cut a thin strip of canvas then roughly cut out a scalloped edge. I placed a running stitch along the straight edge, pulled the thread tight and shaped into a spiral to give this shabby-styled embellishment.

Right, well I'd better go and grab some lunch before I need to hunker down in front of my computer and do some work. Snow is forecast for later, so you'll find me hibernating under the duvet this weekend. Stay warm & safe my friends. Pxx

lovely flower-not sure if it is one you created with us or not. You could be excused for not getting much done on saturday with all the free lessons you had to give. Many thanks for that. Great card and great muted colours.

Exquisite Paul and after watching the creation of that flower it is good to see it in perfect use!
We're back early from Devon due to the dreadful weather... could only take so much rain, wind, hail, wind, snow, wind etc., so we cut our losses and headed home today instead of Sunday.
Hugs Jo x
