New52 - The Finale

Hello there and welcome to what is probably going to be my last post of 2011.  So it is fitting that it is about the final layouts for this year's New52 project (If you wish to see the preceding entries, you can find them in this post).

I have to say, it's been a fascinating exercise, recording my new experiences, even the small ones, every week and yes, I too have noticed that there are a fair number of food-related entries. But in my defence, some include fruit!!!

There are entries I would have loved to included, had they happened, including a walking tour with Lip Service, which I missed due to my poorly back and the making of a perfect Macaron (yes there's been a few attempts but none that I have had the nerve to share publicly).

And I have enjoyed noting to myself, each and every week, the experiences which are new and worthy of inclusion. I thought initially that this project would push me to try out stuff I hadn't done before but actually, it has ended up showing me that I'm constantly doing something that's new. Only that this year, I'm more conscious of it.

I don't want it to end here either. It's a habit I've grown fond of. In some form or other, so I'm going to continue with New52 into 2012. Whether I keep to the same format, or tweak it in some way or even up the ante, I'm not sure yet. I still have a few days to mull it over.

Well, that's it for this year folks. Christmas has been and gone and back here, Nick & I are enjoying the peace and quiet. We're sitting back, patting our expanded tums, taking time to daydream and making plans for the next twelve months. So to you, my readers, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and creativity-packed New Year. Pxx
