A Big Blue Lush Box

Good morning!

I've a quick project to share today. As most of my friends are aware, I'm a big fan of Lush, especially their fizzing bath balls. However, as much as I love buying them as gifts, there's a small challenge. They don't come wrapped in pretty packaging. Well, they do sell gift boxes but you have to go with their selections and you can't just buy one little present.

So I came home, with my single Big Blue Ball, and popped onto the computer, where I came up with a box template that I could print out on A4 card. It took 4 sheets which I trimmed out and glued together to make a neat cube to house the bath ball.

When you open the box, inside sits the ball, with a label attached, to let the recipient know what the heck I've gone and bought them now, without having to tear their way through the wrapping.

It's been wrapped in crepe paper because it's a messy little devil that crumbles easily like chalk which goes everywhere. It also helps keep the ball tidy and intact.

The bottom of the box has an insert with a circle cut out for the ball to sit snug. And now that I have my box template, I can make a few more of these to snazz up these wonderful bath products. So much nicer than how I used to present them, wrapped in paper, ready to disintegrate in moments.

Thanks for dropping by

Pure genius, Paul, and beautiful, too! It must be fun to watch this blue ball disintegrate in the bath water in an explosion of vanilla scents! Wow! It's been a while since I indulged in a relaxing bath! Back in a bit....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Loving this Paul, so different to your card creations and a really clever solution to a problem. Looks quality too. Impressed and rather envious.
