I've taken this from one of my own boards on Pinterest. Quirky and beautiful.
And I'm not sure whether it works as a pattern or not but there's only one way to find out...
It's different I grant you that. Maybe it needs tinkering with more. Maybe it's fine just as it is. I think I'd need to sleep on it and come back with fresh eyes.

I am not positive that I would have recognized the face in your end pattern, Paul, but, since I saw your inspiration piece, I know it is there and can see it/them! I do like this one, too. I always "blow up" your result photo to take a closer look, and this one is quite intriguing--with or without the face(s)! I am in awe of your perseverance in keeping up where, likely, I would have lost "the drive." Good on you!
Lovely face of the lady or manequin? And nice idea to make it as design paper Paul...love the color too...it is nice for making a feminin card...am I right?
If I hadn't seen the face I would never have guessed how it originated - now I keep seeing the face and I love this one.
