Card with a Bird Diecut

Good morning. It's been so nice to dabble in making cards in the evening whilst it's cool. Just chopping up papers, selecting colours and piecing them together is delightfully relaxing. It may sound a bit hippyish but I also pop on a soundtrack with nature sounds too. I have a playlist to run in the background of rainstorms, waterfalls, babbling brooks and ocean waves. It sets me instantly in the mood to create.

Anyway, this is my latest.

In one of my recent purchases, I bought this eye-catching bird die from Penny Black. I saw it on their blog and instantly added it to my wish list. These days, whenever I buy something, I am determined to use it as soon as possible. Same with the papers, there's a bit of something old but there's definitely something new in there too.

Thanks for stopping by and thank you for all the lovely comments I've received in the last few days.

- Green & White BG paper: Basic Grey Porcelain Chintz

Ah, that's lovely ... the silhouette look is striking. I like the softly patterned background too. Is it one of your own papers?
