I really wanted to join in with the Play Date Cafe challenge as the colours are perfect in helping me use up my Prima Reflections papers.
I think i'm just in the nick of time too. It's all very last minute and a bit rushed. I didn't have the luxury of time I originally thought I'd have.
But I'm a determined so and so, when I really want to be and though it's a tad on the rushed side, I did it. With time I would have paid more care and attention though. I would have lined up the pattern paper better before cutting into hexagons. Especially the dotted paper where it's obviously skewed. Never mind.
However, it's done and will be posted before the deadline expires. It's good enough.
Thanks for dropping by :)
Materials Used:
Striped Pattern Paper: My Mind's Eye - Andrea Victoria Collection
Paper used in Hexagons: Prima Marketing - Reflections Collection

I am glad to see I was not the only one to enter the PDCC at the last minute. It's also good to meet another fellow male blogger. Blessings!
I was a last minuter too - I have to say I think you're being way too hard on yourself...doesn't look skewed at all to me! Love your CAS design!
Skewed schmewed, the dots work as an irregular element in an otherwise regular arrangement of stripes and hexagons. Doesn't do the piece any harm if you ask me. The important thing is that you hit the deadline! Nice one.
The dots don't bother me. They are so small that the alignment isn't something you really perceive unless you point it out.
I like the card. It pleases my aesthetics.
Love the design! It doesn't look skewed at all.
Those hexagons work really well on here. And such a subtle colour palette - reminds me of coffee ice cream :).
I never noticed anything amiss - just that I thought it was a nice and clean design that is quite unisex.
Hugs, Neet xx
Great way to use our colors! So glad you made the deadline! Thanks for playing at The Play Date Cafe.
