Over at Less Is More, the challenge this week is to make a project with a handmade flower. Well, I'm no stranger to making the occasional flower here and there lol, so it sounded a perfect theme for me to join in with.
The patterned papers were scraps waiting to be used up. The creams and browns seemed perfect to accompany the flower I made. To make the flower embellishment, I cut out six circles of cream fabric and folded them into quarters. I hot-glued them to a backing circle. I then took a length of lace and hot-glued that over the top and finished it off with a button. The sentiment stamp is Papertrey Ink.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Hi Paul,
So nice to see a bloke's take on the challenge, what a great idea to make a fabric flower. Very stylish I'd say. Hope you didn't burn your fingers like I do when using a glue gun!
