Black Buckles Card

Whilst I was in a creative mode, I made a second card. I had the idea that I wanted to use my buckles die from Spellbinders. I looked through a variety of papers and cards and came across a glossy black card which was perfect. The round buckles look so darn realistic and when threaded onto ribbon and interlaced, they had a fashionable feel to them (& I don't mean "on trend", I mean street fashion haha).

With my buckles as a focal point, I decided on a grey backing paper and I had some greeny blue paper left over from a previous project which I felt would add just the right hint of colour and lift it from being monochromatic scheme. Oh yes and I wanted to shape the card up a tad so I punched through one side with a border punch to jazz it up and keep that modern look. I'll be using words such as spritz and pizazz soon if I don't reign myself in. Someone slap me quick haha.
