Last Friday I had an artists date out with my lovely friend Neet around Bolton. I haven't visited this town for a good few years and I was genuinely surprised by how pleasant it is. I paid a quick visit to the local museum and art gallery which had some superb exhibits including a couple of Henry Moore sculptures would you believe. Then, Neet & I took off around the market stalls where we happened upon a place which sold a variety of crafty items including trims. I was tempted from the moment I saw it to buy 2 metres of a red velvet trim interlaced with tan leather strip and studs.
So I made it my challenge this weekend to incorporate it into a crafty project. Using it as my starting point, I opted for red's complementary colour green as my background paper and then carried on the colour scheme with tan and black, both neutrals. The result, a dramatic looking card. I have plenty of trim left over so I need to think of something else to use it in soon.

Sounds like you had a lovely day with Neet. Great trim, I'm sure it will find it's way onto a LO or two :)
