Cool Retro Colours

Over at the Colour Create Challenge blog this week are some funky earth-tones to play with. Maybe it's just me but these colours make me think of the ones found on bird's eggs. Light green-blues with small brown or cream speckles. I love colour combos that are found in nature.

Anyhow, I've just returned from watching my talented friend Lyndsey demoing at a local craft store, CJ Cardcrafts (if she ever comes to a store near you, I highly recommend dropping in to see what she does, you'll learn bucket loads) and I don't know about you but I seem to have a problem in not being able to leave a craft shop empty handed. This time around, I came away with yet another set of Martha Stewart Punches (and that was restrained, as I could easily have bought the whole lot). So I wanted to use them straight away and over my lunch break, produced this little card.

The circles were made using spellbinders dies and the sentiment is one I designed on the computer and printed out. Nice and simple, bold and graphic and hopefully make it's recipient happy.

I can hardly keep up with your prolific creating! Another fab card - love the design and the colour scheme. I agree with you over the MS punches, they're very hard to resist! x

Paul Definitely like it and that Martha Stewart could be responsible for a lot of bankruptcies if she keeps producing punches like these. Great bloke card except it breaks my rule of no scalloppy things for men. I try to stick to that. Any Arty type would love it though. Would be just as good in many other colour combos Betty XXX

Love the colour combo used - clever you using the dies to create circles and rings. Looks terrific!
