You Win Some, You Lose Some

First the really happy news. Over at the Play Date Cafe, I was named Cup of the Week for my Quince Moutarda LO. Can't tell you what a broad grin it gave me all day. I'll be on cloud 9 for a week now.

However, the down side is I'm having trouble with this week's challenge. The colours are brilliant. A pleasant contrast of warm and cool tones. But I'm afraid I couldn't produce anything up to standard for it. I'm going to post my creation anyway but it's not one of my best. Oh how the mighty have fallen haha. But that's how it goes. Some weeks your mojo is super hot, the next, everything you touch turns to compost. I'll take a deep breath, clear my craft table and start on something else. Who knows, maybe the next post will see an improvement.

Oh, Paul, you're not alone in your ups and downs. Trick is to have more UPS than downs. I really like your card, especially the wonderful borders around the perimeter. I had trouble with this week's colors as well, they look great on the building, but then trying to make a card out of it became a different story. I find that once I have the first card up, the pressure's off. Now you can let creativity run free! ...Looking forward to it!

I know exactly how you feel, my first creation for this week was dreadful, so I had to start again. I think yours is very good.
