Is there such a thing as a pink butterfly?

It's just occurred to me whilst uploading the photo of this project, that there probably aren't any pink butterflies in the world, except on my card. Let's just call it artistic license.

This is my entry for two crafty challenges which perfectly compliment each other. The inspiring sketch provided by Mojo Monday and the colour combination and style from the Shabby Tea Room (this week:- yellow, pink, green & a neutral).

It's just a quickie craft, whilst I wait for the paint on my altered wooden boxes to dry. Thankfully, cards don't take long to make, or else this blog would be very quiet. However, I'm enjoying the mix of working on a project which needs several days to complete, as well as taking time out to play on something which only requires a short burst of time.

Lovely card, Paul - I love the effect of the baker's twine combined with the ribbon. Looking forward to seeing your altered boxes x

I agree with the other gals...go pink butterflies!! ...Especially when they look as delightful as they do on your card! Fabulous border stitching and the distressing around the edges is a wonderful shabby accent! What a pretty mix of papers and colors, too!
BTW, love your new blog header too...fits in nicely with your new found, gorgeous style!

Oh indeed, I think there are and not a million miles away from you (see http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/forums/butterflies/2960-pink-butterfly.html#post28433). But yours are much prettier and beautifully delicate. :)
