My First (proper) CASE Study

I mentioned in yesterday's post that I've finally found out what CASE is short for. I knew roughly what it entailed but call me a pedant, I didn't want to "have a go" until I knew exactly. So now that I do, I thought I'd give this week's CASE Challenge Blog a try.

Each time around, a card is chosen to be used as the inspiration. This week, it's from a delightful card created by Julie Lacey. Being that it was my first attempt, I decided that I would copy almost everything on the card, except for the colours, since I wanted to try another pale, monochromatic card.

Hope I've managed to capture the spirit of the challenge with my project. Now that'll be it until next week. I'm hurriedly writing this whilst Nick is getting ready. Thankfully, he takes a while in the morning to come to. So I shan't be stepping into my craft room to play until Monday rolls around. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend & if you're off to the Ally Pally show, I may even bump into you. Pxx

You've certainly interpreted the CASE card beautifully making it your own style. Really classy! Have a great time at Ally Pally and come back with lots to tell for next Saturday's workshop....

Hi Paul, FABULOUS CASE, you have a beautiful style that just shines, even when you are casing someone elses work you can easily make it your own. Love the way you do mono cards too.
Cheers,

Thanks for your comment. You must get to Croxteth Hall and so you've got to come to my house too or you are in big trouble. It's only 5 mins away from me.

So glad you've taken the {proper} plunge into CASE Study! It can be a wonderful source of inspiration...case in point, your card! And frankly, with the calibur of your card making, I'm surprised that it took you so long to join us! This card is a beauty...that shiny bow is the height of elegance and the pale color palette is so soft and delicate. An awesome CASE of Julie's card!
