Hurrah For Boredom

Thank you to everyone who left a kind comment regards the last post :) I'm pleased to say that life has returned to being boring. However, the fallout of the mini dramas is that Nick has downed more wine & I've eaten more cakes, over the last week, than is probably good for us. So tomorrow marks the start of (yet another) health kick to compensate lol.

So unusually for a Sunday (and partly because of the extra hour the clocks going back has allowed), I'm playing in my craft room. And though it's last minute, I cobbled together a card for the Mojo Monday challenge. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I'm the very last entry.

I've gone ahead and used my Isabelle papers again, which meant low-effort on co-ordinating colours. The heart embellishments are inspired by (i.e. copied from) an idea in Lisa Pace's book Delight in the Details.

Well it's bright & sunny here, so an invigorating walk is probably called for this afternoon before settling down to watch one of the many horror films I have stacked up. To all my american readers, have a wonderful Halloween night tomorrow. Pxx

Save the best for last, that's what I think. Love it, x

This is beautiful Paul! I love the color scheme and the pearl centers on the row of hearts.

I'm on a healthy kick this week too, after overindulging on fast food. It seems as though I'll NEVER learn ;)

Love you "thrown" together card! Really like the way you attached the hearts.

Last but by no means least :). Glad things are less eventful and hope it's a healthy and stress-free week. I especially like the double of treble dose of string behind the tag.

Another gorgeous combination of colors and elements...that trio of hearts is divine! Love the shabby look of them with the sweet string of pearls down the middle. Lovely twine accent, too and to add to your perfectly coordinated card is that charming trio of sentiments. It's simply splendid! Now we just have to get you notched 24 hours ahead so that the Mojo gallery can display your beauties all week instead of just for a few hours!
(And I hear you on the cakes thing...my downfall is candy this week, although we gave out almost all of it, there are just these few pieces left that just so happen to know my name and speak it frequently....Darn it all! I may have to oblige and put them out of their misery... :)

I would never have thought of putting turquoise with pale blue but it works so well. Another beautiful work of art from the hands of Paul.
