One Challenge to the Tune of Another

I was a bit sneaky yesterday. I joined in an online crop hosted by Kirsty. She supplied a sketch and set about making her layout, for us to see via the magic of web camming and chat. The idea was that though she couldn't see us, we would all be joining in too. And I was. In a way. But I was making a card instead. Oh yes, and I wasn't using the sketch. In fact, I was trying to catch up with producing something for Mojo Monday's challenge and using theirs instead.

Actually, it's not as easy as it sounds, trying to chat online and make a card. I had to keep stopping so that I could tap away at the keyboard and join in the conversation. However, I did manage to juggle the two disciplines and by the time the online crop had finished, I had a completed card on my desk. Never mind that now my craft room looked as if there'd been a small explosion in a paper manufacturing factory.

So this morning, I set about clearing everything away and battling with taking a photo of my evening's work using what passes for daylight on this grey and drab day.

And there you have it. Now I have to steal myself to dig out my walking boots, as we have a friend staying the weekend and he's rather keen on going for a hike today. Well, at least the forecast isn't for rain.

Happy crafting everyone Pxx

What a juggling act! They'll never know and we won't tell. :) And it's a stunning card - those creams and taupes are just heavenly ..

Ahh, what talent you've got to chit-chat and craft at the same time! My husband walks into my craft room to ask me where "his" phone is and I about bite his head off! (I'm exaggerating...{am I?}) However you were able to manage production of this beauty is irrelevant...as long as we all get to gaze upon it! The muted colors are so soft and delicate...and you have such a knack for making flowers! I look forward to seeing your lovely Mojo entries each week...your style has become so wonderfully refined.
