If I use it, I'll have space for more

As I look around my craft room, I can see I have just too much stuff. The trouble is, CHA is around the corner and my favourite manufacturers are showing sneak previews of their new products. I just know, my finger is going to hit the "buy now" button once these wonderful papers, stamps and dies hit the stores. Perhaps this explains why I'm putting a heap of stash on to my cards recently. It helps justify my addiction lol.

So for this week's Mojo Monday challenge, I've used numerous dies, punches, papers, stamps, inks and embellishment, all on one little A6 card. As you can see, I've managed to include mulberry roses, pearl bling, seam binding, and a journal card. If it's shabby, it's on there. I've scratched & scraped edges, wet them, & squidged them. The only technique missing is a spot of sewing. I'd pulled so much stuff out onto my desk, there wasn't any room to move my sewing machine.

However, my desk is now clean (I can make a right old mess when I'm in a creative mode, I just don't like it staying that way - it has to be cleared up before I tackle something new). And now there's a minuscule dent in my horde. But is it enough to tell myself it's now okay to add to it again? Maybe after a couple more cards are finished.

So are you tempted by the new releases coming to the stores soon. Or are you all being sensibly restrained. Am I the only one with the willpower of a gnat? lol. Have a good week everyone.

Shabby it ain't! Beautiful it is! Use up or give away or sell anything you've got that you haven't used, and start again with some lovely new stuff - you''l be helping the economy. :)

Lovely creation as always but not too sure about the logic behind it.

As I try & explain to my husband....it's a lot better having an addiction to scrap-stash than shoes, as I did in a previous life!! It's quite possible to visit Ally Pally armed with £50 & come away with an almighty haul....whereas, on a trip to Oxford Street in search of that 'perfect pair of heels', £50 would go nowhere!! So go on...splash out...it could be far more dangerous!! Enjoy!! ;)

For something with a little bit of everything.. it doesn't look over done. Very nice. Looking at some of the new releases the one's hitting me hard are Graphic 45 releases expecially "Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe" I lucked out to get my name chosen for Monday's comment of the day and will get a pad before it's available. It's like winning the lottery. The matching stamps are awesome as well.
