More Black & Kraft

I'm certainly making the most of my Kraft card. I may be late coming to the trend but boy do I love the look. I've seen cards, tags and journals all decorated in kraft and black in the shops and I've even bought a few stationary items too.

So I'm not surprised that I'm having great fun putting together my own. Like this one...

The lace stamp is from Penny Black Stamps and the small circular stamp from a hero Arts set. I'm not sure who did the sentiment set.

I stamped the Kraft card first, using my Fiskar Stamp Press (makes repeat patterns so much easier) and matted onto black card. I attached this to the Kraft card base. I then stamped the sentiment and fussy cut it out (I'm as happy as the next crafter to use dies to cut out label shapes but I have to say there's something much more satisfying about cutting out shapes yourself with scissors).

Thanks for popping by

Oh my! This is so, SO elegant and BEAUTIFUL!! Wow! On the topic of fussy-cutting we'll have to agree to disagree, LOL! I wish there was a die for EVERY shape under the sun. ;-)

Well, Paul, you have successfully fooled me! At first glance I would have guessed that you used patterned paper to create your card--not stamping. When I realized it *was* stamping, I marveled at how you so perfectly stamped. The ah-ha moment came when you referred to the Fiskars Press! Will definitely be checking that out!! Bottom line? Another gorgeous kraft'n'black creation ala Paul! Stunning!

Good morning Paul, this card is stunning, so elegant and sophisticated, love it! I loved your previous one too but I was on a 3 day catch-up so i didn't have time to leave a comment. Take care.
