Inspired Patterns - Day Eleven

I'm going to confess. From here on in, these posts are scheduled. I'm actually typing this on Wednesday. I do have a good reason mind. On Saturday, my better half is going into hospital for a hernia operation. And for a few days I'm going to be nurse. He's been told he won't be able to lift anything heavier than a cup of coffee for four weeks after. Which means, I'll be doing everything around here for a short while.

Therefore I'm not sure what time I'll have available for a few days. That's why I'm trying to jump ahead of myself. It's more than likely that I'll be around indoors for most of the time and will have plenty of time to play on the computer. But just in case.

Anyway, my lovely friend Neet has inspired today's pattern. She left a comment on Wednesday (which is today for me) wondering when I would make a pattern from Macarons. Well, Neet, wonder no more.

For those of you who don't know about my obsession with these delicacies or not sure what they are, here's a photo I grabbed from Pinterest...

and the pattern I created...

Which turned into a sweet, pastel paper...

So hope you like Neet :) and thank you for your suggestion.

Thanks for dropping by :)

Delicious! I have loved all your previous designs, but am still playing catch up, so this is the first time I have had time to comment. Take care.

It's getting harder and harder to make comments on these because they are all so lovely but, sharing your passion for anything remotely French, this has to be one of my faves. Coupled with the soft sugary colours it was always going to be a winner with me.

First, my best to Nick and the surgeon today, then, of course, to you as Nurse Paul. Prayers going up today and the days to follow. Now, from your photo, I assume you are talking about almond macarons, not my beloved childhood coconut macaroons (big difference). I have never had one of yours and have never seen them in stores, but Wikipedia tells me I need to be shopping in more of a boutique store than a grocery store. Some day I may try one of yours! But, in the meantime, I am left here loving ONLY your sweet pattern!

Paul, I've been so busy in my own little world, that I haven't had a chance to visit. I missed the whole story of Nick going to hospital (I'm glad he's home safe now). I absolutely adore your series of patterns, and this one appeals SO MUCH! I'm not much of a sweets person, but I do love the look of macarons, and have been known to eat one or two before. ;-)

Brilliant! Like this macaroon design a lot, especially in pastel colours.

Best wishes to Nick. Hope he makes a swift recovery.
