Inspired Patterns - Day Fourteen

Two weeks into my challenge and nearly at the halfway mark. I haven't run out of inspiration sources or ideas quite yet. Mind, I better not become too cocky or I may find myself eating my own words if I begin to struggle over the next two lol.

However, today I found this photograph on Pinterest...

Which can be interpreted in lots of different ways. I chose to use a silhouette of a cat and filled it with scribbled circles...

Which I made into this...

This is another scheduled post as I'm keeping ahead of myself. By the time you read this, Nick will be back home from hospital and I'll be running around making sure he's kept comfortable. (I'm adding this bit in on Sunday: Nick is indeed home, I had a phone call from the hospital first thing. He's understandably sore when he walks but doing very well).

Hope you've had a wonderful weekend. I'll be catching up with everyone's blogs to see what you've all been up to :)

Thanks for dropping by

Ooh, I love those inspiration images...they remind me of Alberto Giacometti's sculptures! Your scribble cat is super cute and the card maker in me could see him as a lovely stamp - perfect!

I hope that Nick is feeling better and you are feeling considerably less anxious than you have been - it must be a relief to have him home, I just hope he doesn't run you ragged...I know what my other half is like when incapacitated so I feel for you! ;)

Another lovely image to inspire you. Look forward to seeing some cards made from all these papers you've been making.
Best to nick.

I'm loving this series so much, you make me want to go back to uni to learn how to be a graphic designer. I would need some intense lessons in how to use the software involved in this work, even before I started understanding design principles, LOL! Good luck with nursing the invalid. I hope he's a gracious patient. ;-)

Each day will find both you and (especially) Nick feeling just a bit better about all this hospital stuff! He will heal faster at home, believe me!

Love your kitty tapestry in the end, Paul! I so admire your vision and your skill at the computer keyboard in manipulating that vision! I am enjoying this artful ride, my friend!

I really like the cat n' circles design on its own before you turned it into a pattern, if you don't mind me saying so. Another superb idea. You're doing so well - keep going!
