Inspired Patterns - Day Twelve

If you read yesterday's post, you'll know that this is scheduled. Around about now, I will be bricking myself as Nick is going to hospital today. We've had the roles reversed before. I've been in hospital and he's had to sit at home, waiting for news. But not the other way around. This will be a new one for me.

And though my rational side will be telling me that everything will be fine, it'll be that little voice in my head, the one that isn't so rational, which will be picking away at me today. I'll be happy once he's back home.

But back to the challenge. Here's another photo I found on Pinterest...

Which may not be everyone's cup of tea but I really love. And what's even better, that if you know how to work Adobe Illustrator, this effect is a cinch...

And this translates into the following...

Groovy! I have to say this is one of my favourites so far. It's reminiscent of Op-Art, which I have a soft spot for.

As always, thanks for dropping by.

Best wishes for Nick and you as you wait.

Love this retro pattern and can imagine it looking fabulous is a range of colours too - olive green and deep red spring to mind

I am enjoying your daily patterns very much! It makes me want to learn how to make some myself! I agree with you in that today's pattern is my favorite so far!
Best wishes for Nick and you!

Your clock is 5 hours faster than mine, so you should now have heard that Nick did well and you can breathe a bit more easily. Healing prayers still going up for him, and strength for you (you will need it with all those chose ahead of you!). Just remember, be patient...be patient! Now, fancy you should refer to your Adobe software, as your print reminds me of Adobe Indian (as in American Indian) woven blanket patterns. And so, I love this pattern, too!
