That minimalist urge has taken hold again

It may not look like I had the time to craft this week, but that isn't so. I had a whole evening to play. However, when I saw the beautiful colours for this week's Play Date challenge, I knew I was going to use them in a minimalist design. For starters we had white and looking at the white card in front of me, I knew I wanted to keep it as clean as I could.

So I rummaged through my stamps until I found a circular image by Inkadinkado in their Roulette set. I added teal chalk ink to the stamp before using black. I then added a sentiment and embellished with three acrylic gems from Paperchase.

Somedays I just don't want to overwork it. Less says more. I'm beginning to think that watching the wonderful film, The September Issue, yesterday, has had more of an effect on me than I may have realised :D.

Wow - this is lovely, Paul! Love the two-tone circles with the dewdrop centre - very classy. Fab sentiment too x

See.....to me THIS is 'color splash'....black and white as your primary with a hint of color.

Well done, Paul!
