On Saturday, I went to the bi-annual Papercraft fair at Harrogate. I just love this show. Lots of fantastic stalls, plenty of room (normally) to move and lots of new goodies which arrive post CHA. Best of all, is meeting up with friends and catching up.
Most of my shopping was done within minutes of arriving. Grabbing stamps and dies before the stocks ran out. After that, a gentle mooch was called for and my visa card was given a chance to breathe.
On Sunday, I was determined to use as much of my newly acquired stash before it was packed away, filed and forgotten about. In the main I had bought Inkadinkadoo stamp sets and new labels dies from Spellbinders. So I just played around making cards. No sketches. No colour plans. Just any idea which entered my head. As long as it was in a graphic, clean and simple style. It was all serendipitous and incredibly relaxing. A perfect way to while away the bright and sunny morning.
