Refreshed, Re-energised but not a lot of time

Yes I have returned from a short break in Paris. I'm buzzing on a high because it's such a wonderful city and we stayed in a lovely hotel staffed by very friendly Parisians. I saw a heap of art, mostly modern and trekked around the tourist sites to see some of my favourite architecture. Both the Sacre Couer and Notre Dame are still magnificent to look around. Once I catch my breathe, I'll be planning my next trip there soon. Before then, must record the holiday in a mini album or scrap LO. Haven't decided yet. I'll see how many photos we took first.

That all aside, I have spent a rushed hour cobbling together a card this morning so that I can enter the Play Date Cafe Challenge before either the deadline or I, give out. This week the challenge uses pale, spring colours of yellow and white. The photo which accompanied these sumptuous colours was a lemon but they also make me think of daffodils and crocuses (or is that croci???).

Anyhow, yesterday I spent the day with my stamping friends and amongst other projects, we all made these paper flowers using a circular scallop punch. The one I made was pink so was of no use. The idea of it was though. So I dragged out my scraps and found some suitable yellow paper. I then stamped a floral design onto white card and overlayed it with border punched papers. I stamped a sentiment, glue dotted the flower on to it and voila!

That just leaves the pile of washing to attend to now haha. The only downside to going away.
