It's taken a fair few hours to make but finally (and on time, brag, brag) I have completed 2010's Me, The Abridged Version class by Cathy Zielske. I took the same class last year so I had the digital templates already set up, though they needed a little tweaking and refining. And for the first time, digital papers have been used.
The pages are now printed out and placed in the same ringbinder as last year's and the images here are jpegs I created from the digital files, just to show the flavour of how they turned out.
Believe me, it's not easy trying to find two to three original subjects to write about for each letter of the alphabet. Especially the Scrabble letters. It'll be good though to put the album away for a couple of weeks. Then, on a chill, autumnal afternoon, when it's best to stay indoors, wrapped up warm, with a cup of hot chocolate, I can take it from the shelf and read the entries for both years.
It may require a lot of focused effort and a large chunk of time but it's great fun and I can see myself doing this again next year.

Wow! That looks like a real labour of love, Paul. Bet it's a fab journal, though - something to look back on in the future and to appreciate how much both you and life have changed. Fab work ;)
Wow - this is brilliant Paul! I can't believe you have completed two years worth - I haven't even started the first one yet! It will be so good to look through in years to come xx
These are great Paul, what a lot of work you have put into them, you clever person.
This looks WONDERFUL, Paul! Well done on getting it finished! I remember the one from last year, and this is also a triumph ... Hope I get to read some bits too :).
Great job, Paul! I am enjoying your blog!
What a fabulous idea, that is so wonderful.
"Every day of your life is a page of your history" is one of my favourite quotes, (I have a stamp of it) and this brings it to life! Shame I couldn't quite read it.
