Red Tag

Just playing around, wanting to cut, paste and make something. I thought I'd experiment with darker colours but still keeping with my style. If I was to make it again, I think I'd add some stitching around the tag and perhaps distress up the edges more. However, as a first attempt, it hasn't turned out too bad.

Now I just need to adapt and tweak my photography skills as well. I'm too used to the lighter colours.

Keeping it short today. So until next time.

Paul I am from the Design Style class and I love this piece art work I like the dark colors and the way you worked the design. This in my eye is a winner. Hope Kelly sees that. I am wanting to do this type of work now but do not have the design knowledge yet to get the proper balance. At the age of 68 it might be to late as my mind is not as creative as it was a few years ago. Do not give up you are Good and I would buy your designs. I put this on you blog not the classroom because I become a little wordy. Sorry. Sharon Estes estes.sharon@att.net

Paul, this is a comment from the Kelly class on design. I love your piece you just posted. The colors and design are great I would buy this in a heart beat. I am a 68 year old woman looking for her style and I love this style of work and I just donot have the creative mind like I did a few Sharon Estes (Granny's Korner)

Great tag Paul, the darker colours suit you - I do miss the shabby chic which I so loved (you were the absolute master of it) but I also like this dark rich colouring. Reminds me of a sexy night in with a box of chocolates, log fire and glass of wine.
Sumptuous!
Hugs, Neet xx
