A CAS Card With Triangles

Over at CASology there's an interesting challenge, Triangles. Now I love any chance to design with geometric shapes, so I was eager to join in and make something.

I went way back into my stamp files and dug out a red rubber stamp set by Colorbox called Mirrored Triangles. I inked it up with six different colours, stamped onto white card and cut the triangles out.

I mounted them onto black card, trimmed out by hand, leaving a border and then stuck onto a piece of card, cut slightly smaller than the backing card.

I stamped the sentiment and then added foam mount squares to the back before attaching to the card.

Great way to end the week, finding the time to craft. I may even do some more over the weekend. I've no firm plans. The world, as they say, is my oyster.

Nice. I like he way the triangles float off the card.
I can't say I like the whelks tho. :-(

Love this CAS card, Paul, which, actually, is not so simple in design! Love how you mounted the stamped triangles on black card, as it really makes the colors pop. Also, very clever to mount two of them slightly off the edge of the white card. Just love it! You and Nick enjoy your weekend! It's all about family here today.
